In today’s world, where cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, a SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) system is a critical tool for any organization. A properly implemented SIEM can detect attacks in real time and help meet regulatory requirements that will become mandatory from November 2025, including NIS2, DORA, and the Czech Cybersecurity Act (nZKB).

At first glance, it sounds simple: take the data from the old system, prepare the structure, migrate, validate – done. But in practice, data migration rarely follows a straight line from point A to point B. In projects where clients move to a more modern platform or shift parts of their systems to the cloud, we frequently encounter the challenges of data migration. And almost always, similar surprises come up – not necessarily mistakes, but things no one knew they would need to solve ahead of time.
