Adobe's PDF is an ISO standard

The widely used and accepted PDF (Portable Document Format) developed by Adobe Systems has become the ISO 32000 Standard. The ballot for approval of PDF to become the international document standard has passed by a vote of 13 positive to 1 negative. PDF has long been considered by users as the de facto standard designed for sharing, modifying and commenting on business documents. What makes PDF documents an excellent choice is the possibility of attaching an electronic signature to them.
